| Fall Fest - September 24, 2011 |
- Beautiful weather prevailed at the 2011 Fall Fest! A lot of roads led to Fall Fest,
some driving into town for reunions, others running or walking, as they participated
in the 5K Fun Run.There was an extremely large crowd, but there was plenty to do,
plenty to see, and plenty to eat! Fall Fest got a jump start, since Friday was the
Concordia High School Homecoming. Following the football game, the American
Legion was host to a Street Dance and Beer Garden. Early-risers could participate
in the 5K Fun Run or attend the pancake breakfast.
- Winning 2011 Fall Fest button numbers: 22, 50, 114, 241, 246, 299, 330, 356, 445,
480, 521, 552, 698, 855, 920, 1003, 1015, 1042, 1179, 1188, 1300, 1401, 1471,
1592, 1649, 1806, 1854, & 1894. Prizes can be claimed at the Chamber office
through the end of the month.
Fall Fest has become a “Homecoming” for the Cloud County/Concordia community
for over 25 years. The format of one-location, one-day programming facilitates a
return to visit old friends in a fun-filled atmosphere that attracts one and all, adults,
children, senior citizens and teens. Many family reunions as well as class reunions
are held to coincide with Fall Fest, and no wonder!

Fall Fest is always held the fourth Saturday of September! Fall Fest 2012 is Saturday,
September 22!
Several class reunions were scheduled for the 2011 Fall Fest weekend: Class of
1941, 1946, 1951, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981 and 1996. ('61 & '66 are combined
classes from Concordia High School & Notre Dames High Schools) Let us know if
your class plans a reunion during Fall Fest weekend and we will include it on the
Fall Fest Facebook page!
Having a Class Reunion during Fall Fest weekend? Email us about your class
reunion, and we'll announce it here on the website, as well as from the Grand
Stand during the parade!
Help keep Fall Fest fun for everyone! It can get congested downtown. On this
day, we ask that there be no pets, no bicycles, no scooters, no skates or
skateboards.
