This is the schedule of events & activities that we
have so far for 2011 Fall Fest! This year Fall Fest will
be held on Saturday, September 24 - always the
fourth Saturday of September!
Remember to check back, as we will update our
schedule as activities are confirmed.
Friday, September 23
    It's CHS Homecoming! A few classes have planned to hold their
    reunions this weekend, and attend the football game at Harold Clark
    Stadium, when the CHS Panthers meet the Abilene Cowboys. The
    American Legion Post #76 is holding a Street Dance on Friday night as
    well. Check back, and we'll get the details posted!
Saturday, September 24
    Medallion Hunt the week leading up to Fall Fest - winner will be
    announced on the stage during Fall Fest, sponsored by Cloud County
    Farm Bureau
    Pancake Breakfast - 6:30 a.m to 9:30 a.m.
    Come to Club 81 for a wholesome start Fall Fest morning. All-you-can-
    eat Pancake Breakfast Benefit. FREEWILL OFFERING. Sponsored by
    the Cloud County Resource Council.
    5K Fun Run - 7:00 a.m. 5K Run/2 Mile Walk, Registration at 7 a.m.,
    the Run begins at 7:30 a.m., and the Walk starts at 7:35 a.m., at 7th &
    Broadway, sponsored by Concordia Gymnastics Center. Click here for

    Book Sale 8 to 4 p.m. at Frank Carlson Library (closed during the
    parade)
  • Craft & Food Booths - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    We will list our exhibitors beginning August 25! Check back to see
    what's added to the list!
  • Activities & Events in 2010 included the following, check back

    all ages throughout the day!

    9-2 p.m. Chess Challenge Sit down and play a game of chess with
    one of the members of the Concordia Chess Team, in the CNB Park
    9-3 p.m. Riding Toys for Kids in front of The American Legion,
    sponsored by George Larson
    9-4 p.m. Painting Activities for Kids sponsored by the Moose
    Lodge ($ for supplies)
    9-4 p.m. Stained Glass Quilters Quilt display in the Living Hope
    Foursquare Church
    9-4 p.m. Washerboard Games Sponsored by ThunderStrikez, on
    the sidewalk, east side of Funk's empty lots
    9-4 p.m. Water! Enjoy a free cup of water, courtesy of the First
    United Methodist Church, in front of CNB
    11-2 p.m. Photo Booth Grab a friend and make a memory! Have your
    photo taken in the photo booth for $5! Sponsored by POW Camp
    Concordia.
  • Car Show 9-4 p.m. between Broadway & Washington Sts., on 8th St.

    favorite youth football team at Harold Clark Stadium
  • Road Rally 3 p.m. $5 per person. Sponsored by OCCK. Begins at
    the OCCK parking lot
  • Dance 7 to 12 p.m.
    The American Legion is host to several class reunions this evening,
    but will open to the public for their dance, allowing everyone to visit
    with former classmates & enjoy the music.
